Will Smith

Will Smith seems to have returned to form after the dreadful AFTER EARTH having made, in my opinion, a decent film with FOCUS and what looks to be brilliant as Deadshot in next years SUICIDE SQUAD, but before that comes a drama that shakes up the NFL with CONCUSSION.

The first trailer for Smith’s latest film, CONCUSSION, has been released and it looks to stay in line with his usual dramas similar to SEVEN POUNDS and PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. The film is based on a true story following Nigerion-born neuropahtologist Dr. Bennet Omalu, who discovered a specific type of brain injury in football players. Check out the trailer below:

Will Smith still stands to this day as one of my top actors and favourites to watch. Despite the actor not always making some ground-breaking work despite his extradinary talent, he does manage to make some films for everyone giving his action romps a rest this year with this sports drama instead.

CONCUSSION hits theatres December 25, 2015.
