Shooting has officially begun on the long-awaited supernatural sequel to THE CONJURING with James Wan once again co-writing and directing for Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema. THE CONJURING 2 continues the spooky adventures of world renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren, with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprising their roles from the original smash hit horror of 2013.
This time, the Warren’s head to North London to do battle with The Enfield Poltergeist and help a single mother raising four children alone rid their council house plagued by demonic spirits during the 1970s. Events only just brought to the small screen in Sky 1’s acclaimed mini-series, THE ENFIELD HAUNTING, starring Timothy Spall and Matthew MacFadyen.
The full cast has now been confirmed with Frances O’Connor, Madison Wolfe, Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley, Benjamin Haigh, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Simon Delaney, Franka Potente and Simon McBurney joining Farmiga and Wilson.
Set to haunt theaters on June 10th, 2016, THE CONJURING 2: THE ENFIELD POLTERGEIST boasts a screenplay by Wan, David Leslie Johnson and Carey Hayes & Chad Hayes.
