Arriving in just a few short months is Disney’s latest animated comedy ZOOTOPIA, which, as ever, sees the studio recruiting another all-star voice cast. This story, directed by TANGLED’s Byron Howard and WRECK-IT RALPH’s Rich Moore, follows the tale of a sly fox forced to team with an overly keen rabbit cop in attempting to clear his name when framed for the one crime he didn’t commit.
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootropolis is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery.
Just as the New Year arrives, Walt Disney Pictures have dropped a brand new trailer for the film featuring Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, J.K. Simmons, Shikira, Nate Torrence, Jenny Slate, Tommy Chong, Octavia Spencer, Bonnie Hunt, Don Lake, Alan Tudyk, and Tommy “Tiny” Lister.
ZOOTOPIA is released in cinemas March 4, 2016.
