We haven’t even seen DEADPOOL yet as the Merc with a mouth hits theatres in just under two weeks time, but we’re already getting word that the film will be getting a badder, filthier and more DEADPOOL-ier directors cut.
DEADPOOL is a Marvel comic hero who’s known for his foul mouth and do what he wants type attitude, which so far we’ve seen come across great in the trailers. Ryan Reynolds is a perfect choice for the role, wanting to make it for almost a decade and nearly losing all chances after the Wade Wilson character in WOLVERINE ORIGINS. The film has been rated R in the US and it looks like there’s been plenty of cuts to make it to the big screen. According to T.J. Miller, who plays Wade Wilson’s best friend, there’ll be an even worse directors cut coming:
“But yeah, so the idea that when you see the fall director’s cut of it, that that’s going to be even more raw, that’s pretty heavy duty.”
So, hang on, an R rated DEADPOOL isn’t hardcore enough so we’re getting a directors cut with even more, count me in!
DEADPOOL is hitting theatres with some chimichangas on February 12.
