Mick Taylor is back for more blood but this time the crazed Outback bushwhacker is the one being hunted! Yes, Eve Thorogood is on a mission for revenge in the brand new series based on Greg McLean’s outstanding 2005 Australian serial-killer thriller WOLF CREEK and its recent sequel.
Returning to his now signature role for this six-part series is John Jarrett, taking aim at a new crop of unsuspecting victims but soon to see his wise-cracking psychopath having the tables turned.
Streaming service Stan are the ones behind this new series with McLean co-directing the show with Tony Tilse, and working from scripts by Peter Gawler and Felicity Packard.
Wolf Creek,’ a six-part drama series, is a psychological thriller set in the world that fans of the films will recognize – but this time things are different. At first the pattern is familiar: Mick Taylor targets an American tourist family to terrorise and destroy. But the tables are turned when 19-year-old Eve survives the massacre and starts to rebuild her shattered existence by embarking on a mission of revenge.
We’ve had a few teasers since the project was first announced but today brings the first full-length trailer for the series set for release later this year.
WOLF CREEK: THE SERIES co-stars Lucy Fry, Deborah Mailman, Dustin Clare, Miranda Tapsell, Richard Cawthorne, Jake Ryan, and Jessica Tovey.
