With just weeks to go before the release of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Marvel are doing what they do best and unloading as much content as they can before the release of the film. This time in the guise of talking heads of three of the female cast (Go gender diversity!), in the centre Scarlet Johansson, teasing nothing juicy but giving insight into the characters and their relationships with the cast.

Its reassuring that Marvel are at least trying to give more focus to the women of the Universe however we’re still going to have to wait until 2o18 for ANT MAN AND THE WASP, the first film to see a female lead (albeit sharing the title) take the limelight. Baby steps Marvel…we’ll get there.

Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is out in UK cinemas April 29th with a May 06th release in the US following the premiere on the 14th April.
