George Miller Rumoured To Direct GREEN LANTERN CORPS

Warner Bros. and DC already took a stab at GREEN LANTERN with Ryan Reynolds failure of a film so it’s clear the studios being very cautious with the comic book series of the same name from DC. That being said, the only knowledge we have for the film is it won’t be based on just one GREEN LANTERN, with it being labeled GREEN LANTERN CORPS.

The latest rumour regarding the film is that George Miller, the man who brought us last years MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, could be in the line up to direct the comic book adaption. The film is still a long way from its 2020 release, being one of the last films in the DC line up they released, but it’s clear they’d be wanting to get a good jump on the film just to make sure they do a good job of the film.

I’m not entirely sure how a GREEN LANTERN CORPS by Miller would be, but it would turn out interesting. All we know is that the films rumoured for Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner and John Stewart to show up, so fingers crossed we hear some eventual news from this film as rumours regarding Warner Bros. DC films at the moment aren’t looking good with THE FLASH director walking from the film and James Wan rumoured to be leaving AQUAMAN.

GREEN LANTERN CORPS is scheduled for a June 19, 2020 release.
