James Wan Rumoured To Be Leaving Warner Bros. AQUAMAN

Yesterday it turned out Warner Bros. hit some bad luck on their DC film roster as Seth Graeme-Smith left THE FLASH, which he was planned to direct. Turns out rumours are now circling the same could happen for James Wan who’s planning to direct AQUAMAN.

Although THE FLASH director exited due to creative differences, it seems the rumour of Wan possibly exiting AQUAMAN is due to “a tremendous amount of trepidation” with the film itself. Warner Bros. seem to have taken the BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE backlash quite badly and opted for more of an active role in the building of the DC universe.

If this does happen, it won’t be looking good for Warner Bros. and their DC Cinematic Universe after one directors already departed. The studio has raked in massive amounts for BATMAN V SUPERMAN, however despite that it’s been hit with very bad reception.

AQUAMAN is scheduled for a 2018 release.
