LEGO NINJAGO First Clip Sees Jackie Chan’s Master Wu Chase A Chicken

We’ll be getting a whole lot of LEGO movies over the next years I’m betting as the 2014 film THE LEGO MOVIE racked in a ton of money. Straight away after it’s success we got confirmation we’d be seeing a sequel, plus we’ll get extra additions with LEGO BATMAN and LEGO NINJAGO aswell.

LEGO BATMAN is hitting early next year, but it’s looking like they’re ready to tease out THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE, which arrives late next year. Still a heck of a long time away, we’ve got our first glimpse with Jackie Chan’s Master Wu in a special promo clip.

Watching the clip I think this film might be a little more aimed at kids rather than the family (adults and kids) film THE LEGO MOVIE. I mean I loved that film, but not much really happened in the promo clip, not even a laugh. The cast is building up for this film, so maybe it’ll be a good turn out.

In this big-screen Ninjago adventure, the battle for Ninjago City calls to action young Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret warriors and LEGO Master Builders. Led by kung fu master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, the Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their true power.

THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE is scheduled for a September 22, 2017 release.
