We now know the third and final WOLVERINE solo film will be called LOGAN. It was announced last week with an interesting teaser poster which showed LOGAN’s hand, claws included, plus a child’s hand as well.
We know that the LOGAN film will be Hugh Jackman’s last and see an older WOLVERINE, plus it’s been rumoured it’ll take ideas from the Marvel comic Old Man Logan, which saw a much older version of the once hero who hadn’t drawn out his claws in years.
A new image for the film is showing off returning Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, but he isn’t looking as good as he normally does:
Stewart returns once again, but it’s also being presumed that it will also be his final appearance in the role, hanging up his superhero outing alongside Jackman. As for the character, it seems LOGAN is out to help the old Professor, just as the character did for him in the past, as Charles’ powers are becoming very unstable and he’s starting to lose sense of the world.
LOGAN is scheduled for a March 3, 2017 release.
