After blasting into the world’s consciousness as Eleven in STRANGER THINGS last year, Millie Bobby Brown is set to face another monster as she has joined the cast of GODZILLA 2, now known as GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS.
It was only last week that we brought news that Michael Dougherty, who has been working on script with co-writer Zach Shields, has stepped up to direct the film that will be sequel to 2014s GODZILLA. There’s no exact plot details just yet, though we expect Godzilla to be fighting something, and Brown is the only announced cast member thus far.
The film is, of course, part of Legendary’s plan to have a shared monster universe which includes KONG: SKULL ISLAND, arriving March 10th, with the idea being to have Kong and Godzilla in a their own film, GODZILLA VS. KONG, set for May 22nd, 2020. GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS is set to March 22nd, 2019. Brown, meanwhile, can be seen in the second season of STRANGER THINGS which will drop on Netflix later this year.
