Mahershala Ali has been winning awards recently for his role in MOONLIGHT but is turning his attention to future projects and has joined Tom Hardy in TRIPLE FRONTIER.

J.C. Chandor is directing the film that was once in the hands of Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal and, as well as Hardy and Ali, has Channing Tatum on board. TRIPLE FRONTIER is set in the border zone of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil where the effort to combat organised crime are extremely difficult.

Bigelow will still produce the film and Chandor will direct from Boal’s script. Ali, meanwhile, can be seen in HIDDEN FIGURES now and has ROXANNE ROXANNE set for release this year before ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL arrives next year.
