The FARGO television series has continued to fulfill the Coenism’s that made the film so distinctive over its two seasons thus far. Judging by the teaser for the third season, that looks set to continue.
It’s only a brief trailer but we see Ewan McGregor in one of his roles as twin brothers. Here he’s Ray, a parole officer, the younger and jealous brother of Emmit, who’s the more successful of the two. He’s met by Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Nikki, a recent parolee, in a diner with the curious eye of Carrie Coon’s Gloria Burgle, the chief of police in Edna Valley, not far away.
The season also has Scoot McNairy, Thomas Mann, Jim Gaffigan, Michael Stuhlbarg and David Thwelis set to star. The season is set in 2010 and will arrive on US screens April 19th for its 10-episode run and not long thereafter in the UK.
